About
Morgan Pagani (nΓ©e Patton) is an artist from Raleigh, North Carolina. Her lifelong passion for art led her to earn a BFA in Painting from East Carolina University.
Morganβs work is largely influenced by her deep connection to and fascination with water. She is drawn to the visual complexity of the way water reflects and refracts light, both in moments of stillness and dramatic energy.
Working primarily in oil, her technique is grounded in realism while embracing gestural mark-making and nuanced color. She is interested in the tension between precision and suggestion, using color, texture, and light to evoke something both familiar and fleeting.
These same principles extend into her portraiture work, where atmosphere, light, and emotional resonance remain central. Her intention across her work is not to simply depict an image, but to invite the viewer to connect with and experience the scene.
